Question 1

Do I need a card to start?

Accepted Answer

No. You sign up with your email and use Centaur free for 30 days. No card is collected at signup.

Question 2

What happens after the 30 days?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is charged — there is no card to charge. Pick the Monthly or Annual plan to keep going, or leave; your data stays exportable either way.

Question 3

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings › Billing › Cancel subscription. You can undo it on the same page if you change your mind.

Question 4

What happens to my data if I leave?

Accepted Answer

You can export everything you have built before you go, and delete your account permanently whenever you choose.

Question 5

What happens in the first 5 minutes?

Accepted Answer

You create an account with your email, tell Centaur how you slept and how much energy you have, name the one thing that has to move this week, and optionally set one objective per pillar. Centaur computes your first CentaurScore™ from that. No card is required.

Question 6

How much time does Centaur take each day?

Accepted Answer

A 90-second morning check-in, a 60-second evening log, and any decisions or outcomes you want to log. Everything else is derived from connected data — you do not maintain a second system.

Question 7

What should I do in my first week?

Accepted Answer

Connect your calendar and WHOOP if you have one, log one health metric manually, and complete at least three daily check-ins. By day seven you will have a meaningful score delta and your first strategic readout.

Question 8

What data sources can I connect?

Accepted Answer

Today Centaur supports WHOOP for recovery, strain, sleep, and workouts, plus calendar connections via Cronofy or a raw ICS/webcal feed. Find sources and manual metric entry in Settings › Connections. Apple Health and Health Connect import in the native mobile app when available.

Question 9

Do I need a WHOOP or wearable?

Accepted Answer

No. You can log sleep, steps, weight, and other health data manually in under 30 seconds a day. Wearables simply reduce friction and improve confidence. The score works either way.

Question 10

How often does data sync?

Accepted Answer

Settings › Connections shows recorded sync status and last sync when available. Manage WHOOP or Calendar to request a refresh.

Question 11

Is my connected data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Connected health and calendar data is encrypted in transit and at rest, scoped to your account, and never sold or used for advertising. You can disconnect any integration or delete your account permanently at any time.

Question 12

What is CentaurScore™?

Accepted Answer

CentaurScore™ is a 300–900 composite that measures the compound growth of your human advantage across five pillars: Professional Growth, Fitness & Body, Intellectual Sharpness, Peer Exposure, and Progress & Execution. CentaurScore updates daily and is recorded once a week, giving you one honest number to defend.

Question 13

How are the five pillars weighted?

Accepted Answer

Professional Growth 30%, Fitness & Body 25%, Intellectual Sharpness 15%, Peer Exposure 15%, and Progress & Execution 15%. The weights reflect what drives high-leverage judgment and sustained performance for senior operators.

Question 14

How often does my score update?

Accepted Answer

CentaurScore updates daily and is recorded once a week. You can view your 30-day delta on the Score page to understand your trajectory.

Question 15

Can I game or manipulate my score?

Accepted Answer

Logging without outcomes does not move the score.

Question 16

What is the morning readiness read?

Accepted Answer

Each morning Centaur pulls your WHOOP recovery, HRV, and sleep data, combines it with your self-reported energy, clarity, and mood, and produces a single readiness read. It tells you whether to push, protect, or pivot the day.

Question 17

Why does my readiness read differ from my CentaurScore?

Accepted Answer

CentaurScore measures long-term trajectory across all five pillars. Readiness is a daily signal of how resourced you are right now. You can have a strong CentaurScore and a low-readiness morning after a hard week, or vice versa.

Question 18

How do I improve my readiness?

Accepted Answer

Prioritize the lowest component first. If sleep is depleted, protect 7–9 hours. If task completion is low, reduce scope or clarify leverage. If recovery is down, reduce strain for 48 hours. Centaur surfaces the specific bottleneck in your morning brief.

One move lifts your whole week. Centaur names it.
